If you followed the procedure to manually download and install Lighthouse Trader, you should have created a desktop shortcut icon for Lighthouse Trader. Double-click on this icon to start the application. If you manually installed the application, but did not create a desktop shortcut icon, you can start Lighthouse Trader from the command-line by typing:

If you see this message, it means you are running an out-of-date version of the application and must obtain a newer version. To do this, all you need to do is exit the Lighthouse Trader application and start it up a second time. This time it should automatically download the updated version and begin running normally. This assumes that you installed Lighthouse Trader following the normal “Java Web Start” method (by clicking on the Download button near the top of the “Download and Install” page). However, if you installed Lighthouse Trader manually, you will need to explicitly download new versions of the application “JAR” files.
